I was wondering if there is any software that can enable you to remove or even just quieten drums from a normal cd. i know the ideal way is to have the original mix and take the drums off......but i know vocals can be taken off cds......so can the drums?

Theoretically it would work the same way as eliminating vocals. In practice, there wouldn?t be left much of the song, since the voices of a drumset are spread over the whole frequency spectrum.

I would like to know
the answer to that
question too but the
challenge is quieting
them without quieting
the percussion too.
