Anyone know the china's Vinnie uses, especially on Summoners Tales.... sounds rather tasty or is that just production? Makes my Paiste's sound like a goblin shield.
Ive also just imported Jing Chi... how do u dudes rate his stuff on it?

Jing Chi Live?
That's the only one I have so. I like it more now than I did at first. Some nice Vinnie moments... I didn't really get into Ford's playing though. The overall package is just okay to me. I was expecting more. Thankfully, Otmaro Ruiz spices it up nicely. I much prefer Karizma "Document", Mike Landau does it for me each time I hear him play.
What's your opinion Phil? (Assuming you're referring to the LIve CD)
The Jing Chi stuff is cool..big drum sound. The live is good except they mic'd the kit funny...It doesn't really capture his sound IMO.
I've seen him many times and he's always using something different.Although,I have seen him using the 'Oriental' china a number of times. He seems to be favoring the larger ones..I guess it just depends on the date. Sorry that I can't be of more help...maybe Randy?
The Jing Chi live was a 20" Oriental.
