Whoa, when the hell did this happen. Do you know what's on the new album. Is it actual new songs, or just a compilation album of old hits. More info, more info, more info.
It's a live album.....it was recorded during their last two shows. Towerrecords.com has a track listing. A DVD comes out in a couple of weeks.
Sweet it's a cd of them live. It's got a lot of damn good songs on there. Looks like i'm going to have to pick it up. Now if only the band would get back together.
Damn i heard bout the dvd, not the cd.Cool
Hmm. Why a friday release? Probably because of the DVD, but I don't know. Anybody?
Definately have to head on over to Best Buy and pick this up.
I am boycotting Best Buy. Buy it at Black Hole. Best Buy can sell things at much lower prices because they make deals with the record companies. Keep indie stores alive in this time of file sharing and recession by not buying at Best Buy.
Case in point.
This is Zwan's(Billy Corgan side band)policy.
Policy
Zwan allows members of the audience to audio record at most headlining shows. You will have to bring your own deck and mics. No power or soundboard feeds are given out. No mic stands are allowed. Video is never allowed. Please respect other people at the show. Taping is a privilege. All recordings must be used for personal use or trading only. Selling or commercializing any recording is illegal and will jeopardize taping privileges for everyone.Zwan has the right to change or revoke this privilege at any time without warning.

I was there both nights and knew before hand that they were going to be recording for a live DVD and CD both nights. At first they were going to use footage of both nights but after those shows Zack left so I think its more significant to release "the last show" on DVD. The whole show isnt gonna be on there wich sucks. They cut out 2-3 songs. Damn Sony. At least the DVD will have bonus stuff.
At first these shows were supposed to be filmed at the Fillmore in SF but thank god it got moved down here to LA.
