How to Launch Slicks

How do you guys launch w/ slicks, 22x8x13. What rmp's, feather clutch, dump clutch, psi, etc.

Thanks...what does "side step" mean? I was planning to rev 6K, dump the clutch & gas it...

Release clutch, floor it.

Pull up e-brake, 3,500-4,000 rpms in first light them up until they begin to smoke. While still burning out and the tires pointing forward let the e-brake down to burn out of the hole preventing any water from staying on the slicks. I like to line up first, so to get ready for the tree and get my rpms up to 6,000-6,500 and hold it.... On the third yellow, side step that bitch and hold on [img]wink.gif[/img]

I have ran them at 14 psi, but I've heard you can go down to 7-8 psi....

I have tried 7-8 psi. With the amount of hp we are making I have found btw 12 - 14 psi to work best for me. Don't slip the clutch.

Thanks for the replies. I'll try 14psi & 6K launch. BTW, I'm gettin 15" slicks not 13". Don't know if there's a difference.
