The Wildhearts or The Quireboys

In a Lycan-mood I am!

Apples and Oranges one might say, but since they have a link, what would you rather hear? Your out of town for a month, you open your CD case, and you only have two CD's (you forgot the rest at home), and those two CD's are a Q-Boys comp, and a Hearts comp, which one do you grab more often?

For me, obviously it is The Wildhearts almost everytime. The energy, attitude, and originality wins out.

I don't think Lycan has ever hit this "which do you prefer", and it just came to me this morning as I was listening to "WH Must Be Destroyed".

Side question for Lycan:
So, when they tour, where do you think they play the new songs such as "Its Only Love" and that other thing with the chorus of "One love/one life/one girl"? Ya think they play it before or after "Loveshit", "My Baby Is A Headfuck" and "Shitsville"? [img]wink.gif[/img] [img]tongue.gif[/img]

If I had to choose between those two, I'd have to agree with ya. I'd get bored with the Quireboys after Hey You and 7 O'Clock.

Definitely Wildhearts for me. btw, Carl, in answering your question, I bet they play any of the newer "happier" songs right alongside the classics.

mmmmm hard one [img]graemlins/sure.gif[/img] I do like Quireboys but I would have to go for Wildhearts due to the energy and after a few listens Quireboys get a bit repetative whereas wildhearts always seem pretty fresh and who could beat "My baby is a headfuck"
