I got a set of these about six months ago from the Wembley Drum Centre in London. I went in to buy a DW kit but played this set along side several DW kits and I loved them. The kit finish is awesome and looks great live. I think I was one of the first in the UK to play Spaun.
Anybody got a view on them. I don't see many other players on them.
Ahhh those Spaun kits in WDC look amazing! Did you buy one of the ones on display? I've only noticed the black flame one and the sand-coloured one with wooden hoops...droooool.
I bought the purple swirl one they had on display. Looks good in the living room so the girl friend likes it...the neighbours hate it as much as my other kits though!
Ya those kits look killer. Cant comment much on the sound though.
I have three Spaun snares, 14x6 24 ply in Purple Fade, 14x5 Stave Mahogany and a 13x6 16 ply in Natural finish with gold hardware
The company makes great looking drums which are matched by their sound. High quality all round
