I got mine today and it looked different then the ones I had seen in pics on the board. Mine had this black box that all the wires go into, the sending unit is rather small (the pics that I saw had a sending unit that looked just like the electric oil pressure ones) Pretty damn sweet though, now I see why it was so damn much cashola.

Jav - I received mine today also. Yeah, the black sending unit looks to be 2.0-2.5in by 3.0-3.5in. Not too big, not too small. All the wires have to be added to it. Let me know how it works out. I won't be able to install until Sunday(still moving stuff to our new house http://www.hostboard.com/ubb/biggrin.gif ) Hopefully, my max fuel pressure is only 50psi or less(RC 310's @ 6psi) Happy Tuning http://www.hostboard.com/ubb/biggrin.gif

If you actually open up the black box, there's not much in there. It's mostly for their memory recall and peak-hold electric gauges.

Since I'm using a secondary injector controller, this thing is a little beyond what I need anymore.

Yup, that is the one. It is different then the older ones like Lund and Zip's where it is just a brass looking sender. Look at the pic of Lund's CAI and strut tower bar and you will see what I am talking about mounted on the fuel filter. I probably won't hook mine up til I get my damn bezel from Summit, but in the mean time I am getting a led and a resistor to wire up a vtec light togo in the bezel along with the guages.

The sending unit for the lower cost "half-sweep" electric fuel pressure gauges is the large "Brass" colored unit that you mentioned. It is not as accurate as the one that you have purchased... that is why the Fuel pressures are more "Vague" on the half-sweep gauge as opposed to the "Full-sweep" gauge.
