Hi Guys and Ladies

Hi everyone,
The winter in coming... Had to start the heating this morning so I could get out of bed and for an added bonus I had to scrape my car windows so I could see something... The only good news: it means the snowboard season is coming!! YES SIR!!!
G'morning. I get to take the kids from the childrens part of the care center on a field trip today. A Pumpkin patch th day after a good rain.... can we say Mudddddddddd????
Good luck Guyver!!!
My name is muudddddddd!
A friggin' good morning... ...oh, heh heh...that was yesterday's bit, eh?
Well good morning anyway!
I got a letter from AOL informing me that the block will be lifted off my account and that they will start billing accordingly. WTF? I spent 2 fucking hours on the phone with 7 different CSRs who kept cutting me off everytime they transferred me to another department trying to explain to them that I cut off my service back in June!
Get this! Apparently one of my daughters logged on to HER account 3 hours after I canceled the service. That was enough to reinstate the account. FUCKING VAMPIRES! How can a secondary screen name authorize the reinstatement of the master account???? Just by logging on????
"Well um, sir? How do we know it wasn't you using her screen name?"
"Plus sir, the FTC requires us to allow a 30 day grace period in case the customer changes their mind." You mean to tell me it takes me 2 fucking hours of phone tag to cancel this damn service but I can reactivate it by simply logging on??? Do I even get an email confirming my "reactivation"??? I deleted all my AOL software at the end of July...plenty of time for confirmation email.
From this point on I got really ugly. My youngest daughter learned some new words. (She even gave me some to throw into the conversation)
So after 2 hours I'm done with the AOL people. Do you wanna hear about my conversation with SBC right after that?
yes

After 2 hours with AOL I then called SBC to deal with continuing porblem of my DSL being down (this is after 2 hours on Sunday explaining to a guy in India that I do not have a router or a wireless hub hooked up to my computer).
This time I was only on the phone for an hour and a half. The guy's name sounded like "Charmin". It cracks me up that these guy try to pick American sounding names which sound ridiculous when said with a heavy Indian accent.
Anyhoo, so Charmin starts trying everything from his magic bag of tricks. One of the first things I asked is "what are the chances that the modem is just bad?" He goes on to explain that if the modem was indeed bad that none of the lights would come on. (at this point only 3 of 5 lights were coming on) Okay, I think to myself, you're the expert. After an hour or so of pinging my modem and so forth...he comes to the inevitable conclusion that my modem is in fact "bad". Thanks Charmin. Are you paid on commission?
So now I have to wait 5 working days for a replacement modem to show up. I asked for a credit to my account for those five days.
So there I am last night, in my "studio" working on my lastest electro project and watching Farscape. Suddenly I notice that the "internet" light on my modem is solid green. I log on a "poof", everything is fine. WTF?
I've come to the conclusion that it was just Jor breaking the internet again.
