Hey guys,
I noticed that my fuel pressure is still at 50 psi after removing all the JR stuff off the car. I still have the walbro fuel pump in the back but figured that didn't matter too much since the stock regulator can dump the excess fuel into the tank. Am I missing something http://www.hostboard.com/ubb/confused.gif I even tried a second fuel pressure regulator and the pressure did not go down. Do you think it's just the pump?
The pumps volume and the OE FPR's outlet size determine minimum FP. Your's sounds normal with an aftermarket pump.

Isn't fuel pressure supposed to be around
60-65psi (on a GS-R motor)? Or am I just trippen?

The restriction is the OE regulators outlet orifice... bypass this and the JR regulator will drop to below 30 psi.

The standard setting of the JR FMU on a 6 psi kit is 60 psi static.

I think I am being misunderstood. I took out my supercharger. I should be seeing pressures of 38 psi. I no longer have a fmu. But instead I am still seeing 50 as if I still had it on. The only thing I haven't done was remove the walbro fuel pump.
i believe that the simple fact of having the pump on there without some sort of fpr to lower the pressure will result in the pressures of which you are speaking. The pump flows more than the stock regulator can keep down.
