Zildjian VS Sabian

i was also surprised to find out that outta the big 3 (zildjian, sabian, and paiste) the zildjian is the cheapest! well at least here in the u.s.

i personally always keep going back to zildjians because i grew up with em and so used to hearing music with them.

Hey guys!! I've been coming here for awhile...so I firgured it was time to become a member...

Obvioulsy cymbals are a personal preference....myself I was raised on Sabian and I haven't looked back or even questioned my choice. My favorite cymbal was an 16" B8 crash, the cheapest of the cheap...but it sounded great!!!
Oh yeah and Iam Candadian too...that might have something to do with it lol

I definately love zildjians, but i do have a soft spot for paiste. I hate sabian.

The only thing that puts me off Zildjian is that NONE of their cymbals are hand hammered. Even Stagg hand hammers their cymbals! And both Paiste and Sabian hand hammer their cymbals.
