I was wondering if anybody here has sent their little SOHC D16 to Endyn to have it FULLY rebuilt??? And is so, how much did it cost? Are you pleased with the results? And how much HP and Torque did the engine produce after the rebuild? Thank You in advance for any help anybody may have for me.

I think Phil has taken the Endyn plunge...
The last G-tech run I did showed 173 whp. That was 2-3 weeks ago. Since I can't get to a dyno, the G-tech is the only way for me to test. Weather has been extremely poor since then. I've also had to upgrade my injectors to 370's. The 310's were maxed. Even richening with a Field controller showed no increase in A/F ratio. The 370's are in as of yestreday, and the weather has cleared, so I'll be able to do some more tuning this week. I'll keep you all posted if you'd like.

I did it, but just have not put it in yet. I have a ton of things to do. First I have to button up my Civic that I stripped all the parts from for the Sol. Here are my impressions when it arrived:

Hooper what kind of boost pressures are you running. Just wanted to know because I'm going to upgrade my injectors soon. Thanks

13-14psi. It used to read more like 16psi before I got the kamikazi header. It seemed to rev alot quicker with the Kami. I've learned not to use phrases like "there was more power when..." around here, because I have no dyno proof of anything. But it did.
BTW, zip, your AAS for the J&S works as advertised. I think I need to muffle it a little. I've got it mounted in the dash, and it's just a little too loud. It's an easy fix. I did a little tuning with the 370 RCs tonight. I'm still getting about the same 170ish HP. I did 4 runs starting with the Field controller set at all "0" and made 149. I leaned it out slightly each run, and it eventually got back to where it was. There is still more in there. I just have to spend more time with it. I haven't even touched the adjustable cam gear since I got the engine back from Larry...

The unit has an adjustable potentiometer inside. You can adjust the volume by turning it counter clockwise w/ a flat head screwdriver. I forgot to mention it in the instructions because it was a last minute addition.

Cool as hell! I did manage to mount it in a fairly easy place to get at.
yeah phil did. I don't remember the exact numbers, but very reasonable, after having doing a build up myself.
Hooper, how much did the rebuild cost ya??? And if you are running the SC at 12-16 psi of boost have you had any problems with it? I heard that when the blower spins into super sonic levels it doesn't push air anymore it just cuts thru it!!! Jim taught me that http://www.hostboard.com/ubb/smile.gif
