Last night I ended up going on a pub crawl in Rome and holy **** was that an experience...
First of all I went out with these absolutely crazy Australian girls who were set to drink themselves silly (and lived up to the challenge nicely!) We were set to meet the crawl at the Spanish steps but got somewhat lost and ended up not getting there until a half hour late. Not so big a deal though because we found the place finally (my Italian is getting better just from having to ask directions so much!) but when we got there, the strangest thing happened... lightening struck. Literally.. just as we got to the top of the steps, the tower above our heads just 30 feet above us got STRUCK BY BLOODY LIGHTENING!!!
Needless to say I about wet myself and for the rest of the night nearly jumped out of my skin every time thunder clapped!
What an experience! Anyhow.. we got drunk, danced, got the T shirt, crawled home, ect. and generally had a lovely time!
Ok will post later about what I did today.. time for dinner now!
