I checked too and while I am italian I only know a few curse words,how to tell someone they are giving me a big headache and the word money. Not very impressive on my part so I have no idea what your website says.

<font size="3" face="Arial">Hi CCL, that's my band, Zoo di Venere, unfortunately our site it's all in Italian (we're from Rome) so probably hard to understand if you're not familiar with the language. We have a deal with a label distributed by Warner and our album is out just now, with our single "Killer" featuring a video shot by Richard Lowenstein (he did all the INXS videos + some U2 and Nick Cave ones). The music is as usual hard to describe... I guess they're rock songs, with raunchy female vocals (we have 3 ladies in the band)... on our web page you'll find some audio samples.
Someone in this message board may remember me from my London days as guitarist of The Last of the Teenage Idols, that's why I registered, I'm actually writing a message now on another topic about my London drunken years...

I need to get me a Learn Italian In One Day book...hehe. Then again, it won't help, I bought a book for Spanish before and I got lost...LOL!!!
Funny thing is...I'm Spanish/Hispanic/Mexican/Brown-skinned/Wetback/Illegal Alien, whatever I am these days...LOL.

<font size="3" face="Arial">Well, ZOO means, er, ZOO. DI means OF and VENERE is VENUS (the planet or the sexy goddess, it all depends if you're into astronomy or into sex, I suppose).
It's actually the Italian title (here in Italy movie titles get translated in Italian unfortunately) of a Peter Greenaway movie, "A Zed and two noughts". I just liked the "Venus' Zoo" imagery for a mostly female group that plays romantic rock songs... Love and animal attitude... even if, let me tell you, me and the drummer are the most romantic persons ever... the 3 girls are the f****g animals!!!
