Are we talking "Glam" only? My fave has changed in the past year for the time being. But in all reality it is a big ol' tied up mess between The Damned, Small Faces, Faces, Humble Pie, with the one time reigning champs Marillion fast falling into the "where are they now" category in my CD collection. I'm bored by them and disgusted by their choice to abuse the insane loyalty of their fanbase and have them do all the work and pay for them for everything. A beautiful gesture once done to get the band to the US for a tour turned into a constant abuse of love.
THIS POST IS ABOUT IT CARL!!! ABOUT THE BAND WHICH NEVER NOTHING COULD WITH!!! I COULD MENTION POISON OR PRETTY BOY FLOYD WHICH BECAME LATER IN A SHIT!!! THAT'S WHY I NEVER WAS SURE WITH THE WISH OF A HTM REUNION!!!
this is a tough question if you are asking for a favorite band that has NEVER let me down. I love Hanoi Rocks but can't get into the new one at all and I love the Rolling Stones but it must be Tattoo You and before.
One band that has always done it for me is D Generation. Love every song they have done, She Stands There is a classic. Never seen a bad show by them, always tore the place up even when playing to 8 people in hazleton (it was a free show to boot) and they are a bunch of great guys too. So with that said I must go with Material Issue. haha
Musically, it's a toss up for me between D Gen and Material Issue but since I have seen D Gen live and have never had the pleasure (yes you, i said pleasure *wink*) of seeing Material Issue, my final answer is D Generation.
Geez...only one???
Okay Okay let me see.......
I would have to say my all time fave band would have to be GENE LOVES JEZEBEL/
Gene Loves Jezebel...another great show where there was like only 15 people there, and this one was in the heart of philly. felt bad for the band but i love when no one is around me. makes for me being a happy boy.
Lately, I'll go with Conscience Pilate. Of course, that will probably be changing in a matter of weeks, so let's not be tattooing that to my forehead.
