I think it is because we can only adjust in a 20% window with the stock computer. I remember when I had my Fields,it would throw codes all the time when I'd ajust for too much fuel. I think it might also have something todo with where you are adding the fuel because the ecu will throw the nutorious code 45 when it sees too much fuel anywhere besides WOT. Just a few more ideas to throw out there.

You need bigger injectors not a new MAP. The fields and v-afc work off injector pulse width. And you are trying to adjust the pulse width beyond limits...
FYI 1 bar=14.7psi The stock honda one is good till about 11psi according to Zydne etc... and in a JRSC your MAP seeing NO BOOST...

Obviously you didnt understand a word i had said... So what if you're running 11psi... even if you had a 3 BAR map sensor (go for 21psi or so) ... it wouldnt help you one bit... since the ECU fuel map only goes upto 0 BAR (or 0psi, or sooo) ...
Your V-AFC doesnt quite modify the injector pulse... what it does is modify the MAP sensor signal. It will either increase or decrease the signal (depending on your +/- correction values) and send that modified signal back into the stock ECU. This modification of the signal tricks the ECU into adjusting the injector pulse width...
However, with stock injectors, the stock ECU pretty much uses right up to the top of the fuel map... thus you can't add much to the V-AFC correction... maybe 10% ? That's all mine would adjust b4 throwing a CE code. You now have to get ride of your stock 240cc injectors and put in some bigger ones... Then you can adjust your V-AFC in the minus (- %) range to take out fuel... this way the MAP sensor signal will stay below the top of the fuel map and also stay clear of CE codes..
But as was mentioned... tooo much fuel will also though a system tooo rich code... sooo... careful tunning is needed.

SC HYBRID,
Replacing your MAP sensor will do nothing, as it's on the inlet side of the blower where it never sees boost. As MDA says the problem is that you're trying make too large an adjustment with the VAFC. As the VAFC does the enrichment by altering the MAP signal before it gets to the ECU, too large an alteration will put the MAP signal outside of the limits which the ECU is programmed to handle. With the Bosch pump, Cartech FMU, and RC 310s you're using, you should be able to run higher peak fuel pressure to richen things up a bit without running the MAP signal out of bounds.

If you're at 11 psi, you're at the edge of the MAP's reliablity to break the internal diaphram. I can only think of getting a stronger 2 or 3 bar MAP and that usually requires a standalone or piggyback system.

i want a MAP sensor that wont wizz out when i add alot of fuel with the V-AFC,it always wizzes out and i need the x-tra fuel, where can i get an upgraded MAP ? i remember seeing one on the net that had some aluminum adapter connected to it ,but i forgot where.thanks to anybody that has some helpful info.

It's not that your MAP sensor 'wizz's' out on you... because the stock MAP sensors are usually got upto 9psi... However once your cross the barrier from a VAC manifold into a pressurized manifold > 0 BAR, the stock ECU's fuel map ends... which is why you get CE light. Changing the MAP sensor to one that handles 2 BAR (about 14psi) wont help you one bit.
