Hi Guys,
This is really just an introduction to myself and a request for some advice, I am looking to start production of a little script I have knocked up. Its gonna be done on the cheap. It has to be done on the cheap and it WILL be done on the cheap....and by cheap ofcourse I mean FREE!!!
Anyway, Im using a JVC GR-DX25 to film the movie and was just wondering what the difference between LP and SP is, I understand the concept but realistically how much quality loss is there.
The script 'Uncomfortable', is a short movie, so I dont need length but quality is always important.
Anyway, Hi to all you guys/galls and thanks in advance!
Cheers
Jamie

always use SP when possible
with LP the tape moves across the head slower and is more open to errors = dropout = ugly

I wouldn't use Long Play - it's less stable and you'll be more at risk of losing some data. If you need to record more than an hour get another tape - you're budget will surely stretch to that at least...
