Met Hal in the very late 80s doing a multi-clinc at a music store in Orlando w Mike Terrana, Gary Moffett [.38 Special] & Scott Travis...self-admittedly less chops than the other guys, yet WAAAYYY more studio gigs/recordings in HIS lifetime...a cool clinic, to say the least. He is, like, recorded 3rd after Gadd & Porcaro at that time, or some shtuff like that.
