Back at you, Sluggo.
I thought about crashing your Easter egg hunt, but decided that I really should wait for an invitation.
The "Easter" Egg Hunt isn't til next Sunday because all of the grandkis want to be here for it & Dianne (who has two of my grandkids) can't ever be here on Easter, so........ it will be next week (like always) and you can come if you'd like. The hunt will begin at 6 o'clock. Come early and you may help "hide" the eggs OR you could ride herd on the kids inside while the "hiding" is going on. If you want to come for dinner, just let me know and I'll be sure to fix enough. Don't know yet what it will be but you are welcome to come. Well we had breakfast at Lindsay's parents house. I played 007 Nightfire with her little brother for a couple of hours, then we headed out to my grandparents and had some snacks and talked for a couple of hours, then me and Lindsay went out to Bob Evans for dinner. I had Country Fried Steak, Green Beans and Baked Potato, Lindsay had some marinated chicken with rice pilaf and glazed carrots. Mine was pretty good. Then went home and played some basketball, and then tried fixing my computer.

Had Brunch at the Placa downtown with my mom and sister.
It was pretty darn tasty.
Prime rib, roasted potatoes, shrimp cocktail, french toast with fresh berries, two kinds of sausage, bacon, cantalope and honeydew, procuito, salami, smoked turkey, rolls, cheese, berries, kaluha cheesecake and creme caramel with fresh berries. And that was just what I had.
It was awesome, the people working were all very friendly and helpful.
Oh yeah, had a bunny cookie too.
Boy, when I type it out it sure looks like I ate a lot. LOL! BURP!

In order to celebrate Easter, one has to believe in the Bible.
Sorry, can't get behind that book ergo no Easter celebration for me.
Celebration of the arrival of spring pre-dates the Christian era. The whole notion of re-birth was celebrated by Wiccans and other "pagan" religions in Europe (like the Druids) as a time to celebrate surviving winter, new life and the promise of crops and abundant game in the coming months. The Christian religion incorporated numerous pagan beliefs into the Christian calendar, including a winter festival we have come to know as Christmas. Do you ignore Christmas now too, or were your Christmas cards last year a hypocritical contravention of your beliefs?
Let me guess Jumper...
you don't believe in the Easter Bunny either, do you??!?!?
me likes lots of chocolate easter bunnies. and Prime rib, roasted potatoes, shrimp cocktail, french toast with fresh berries, two kinds of sausage, bacon, cantalope and honeydew, procuito, salami, smoked turkey, rolls, cheese, berries, kaluha cheesecake and creme caramel with fresh berries
If you remember correctly our "christmas cards" stated "happy holidays" NOT Merry Christmas. D2 and I celebrate christmas because we have nieces and nephews who do believe in it. We don't buy each other presents unless it's a mutual gift to each other.
We didn't even decorate our home last year due to apathy about the holiday.
And no...I don't believe in the Easter Bunny either.
