Tantra has as goal to empower us to free ourselves from being stuck.
It does not describe which kind of "stuckness."
Tantra prefers to take the fast road to get us to be "unstuck" and therefore the sexual connection associated with tantra.
Also the reason for the words "bliss" and "ecstasy" associated to the road chosen by tantricas.
Tantra also says that once we are "unstuck" we ought to carry on without it.
It has done its job and therefore no more.
