There are. This is a doll hospital in my town. I pass it every day on my Dunkin' Donuts run.

I can personally recommend the TLC doll hospital. A couple of months after DH died, my oldest daughter's (then 5) white bodied Kirsten lost her leg. She absolutely refused to let me send Kirsten into the AG Doll Hospital, saying that folks who went to the hospital died (obviously because of her Daddy dying).
Turns out we went to a Convention about an hour away from the TLC doll hospital, and I had brought Kirsten with us on the trip, hoping we might be able to get her fixed there, or at least leave her there and let them mail her back home. The wonderful folks there restrung her while we waited when they heard the story of why my daughter didn't want to let her go to the "hospital." The compassion they showed a little girl (and her mom) that day meant the world to us.
