Guys, I'm going to upgrade my clutch. A local shop offers me a set of ACT extreme pressure plate and the high perf. clutch disc(coat with something which they claimed to last longer?) ... for a discounted total price of $400.
Should I take the deal or should I go with Clutch Specialties or Clutch Masters (recommend by TOO) set up? How much is a set of CS or CM would run? Any pros/cons about CS / CM vs. ACT? Any suggestion, input to help me making my final decision is greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance.

I have the ACT street disk w/ HDPP & JUN flywheel on my car. I like the setup and the shifts are pretty solid. There is a fair amount of chatter which was dramatically reduced by engine mount inserts.
I've heard good things about Clutchmasters but the prices are really high. Way higher than my ACT setup.

I have a clutch specialties clutch and I like it a lot. As well you can save 100-150 dollars over that price you quoted with one of theirs. Just call them and tell them what you do with the car and he can recommend one for your specific car. I have used mine for a few thousand miles and it is still great.

Just to throw a wrench in the works, has anyone checked into Honda Heavy Duty clutch discs and R-flywheels?
I will need a clutch come next spring, and I think I might go that route....

ACT is an awesome clutch. The best by far in my opinion. HDSS with a street disc. The best set up unless you plan to run over 600 HP.

Before you buy the ACT, call Brian at Clutch Specialties. He will talk you out of that ACT. I cannot due it justice.
