Things I've learned this week:
Homemade upholstery cleaner* works better than the store bought stuff.
If you use dryer sheets (or the ole dab of fabric softener on a washcloth) , be sure to scrub the lint filter a couple of times a year. You'll know it needs it if hot water pools on the mesh.
* 1/4 cup laundry detergent, 1 cup water. Beat on high speed until stiff peaks form and apply lightly with a clean sponge.
