No manual on hand... where to find O2 sensor wire

Bought an autometer A/F guage yesterday but the place was out of Chiltons/Helms etc books so I'm trying to find the easiest place to get to the Oxygen sensor wire for it. Pls help.

I just had my blower and gauges installed by JRcivic last weekend ask him about it. I have a civic so I don't know if they use the same color wire...... but I know he would know what wire to use and where to find it.

I installed mine last week, so I think I can help.... take the cover off of the ECU... unbolt the ECU and pull it out, when you are looking at it removed there are 4 plugs on top. The wire you want is in the row which is furthest to the RIGHT, with the connectons on top. WHITE wire (NO MARKINGS) other than WHITE. I think it's in the SECOND row of that connector (from the left). Get out your voltmeter, and make sure that this wire does not go above .99 volts (+). Poke a hole through it with a sharp object (an awl is best) and solder your connection.

Thanks, much appreciated. Now... where's the ecu? I completely rebuilt the motor myself on the last car, renting garage space and lift time to do it, and it took friggin' forever. This time, I let somebody else deal with the hard part. So since I didn't install the blower myself, I don't really know where things are on this car.

Found the ECU (I think) but with only 3 connectors on it. White wire didn't seem to be it. No markings I saw indicating D14 either...

feel stuck and frustrated.

It's D14...there wont be any markings on the ECU or plugs....just follow the diagram

it is a white w/red stripe wire at pin number seven in the sixteen pin harness.it should be in the middle row,second or third from the left.the ecu is behind the kick panel.check it with a volt meter.it should be about .6v with a warm engine.

TurbotypeR....I think you are reffering to a 96+ Teg....he has a 95...look at the diagram above...D14 is in the 3rd plug with 22 pins

yea,it was a 96-up.sorry,i tried.just get it at the o2 under the hood.there should be two grounds,an ignition power,and a signal.if i am not mistaken,it is the white wire on the sensor side of the harness.don't splice into the sensor side.use the other side.

for '95 GSR (should be the same for all 94-01), the position of o2 sensor wire to hook up a/f is D14
