Holy Shit that Got A Match is INSANE. Weckl is on fire in that tune and Chick is riding shotgun. Ridiculous playing, phrasing, listening, and chemistry. Talk about ear raping, jeez.

indeed...i got a boot of them at the north sea jazz fest in 2003....only arrived yesterday.......some of the best weckl i have ever seen. in this band he is challenged more than in his own, plus all the guys are enjoying themselves so much. i cant wait to see them in the summer!!!
i also got a boot of chambers with mclaughlin in the free spirits group from 1994....the best dennis i think ive ever seen too. john seems to bring out the best in dennis; same with chick and dave. here dennis was fresh, fast, excited and brilliant. mostly be-bop stuff and the ideas were so flowing.......these days hes nothing like that.....shame.
