KotD is only rare in the sense that they aren't stocking much of that wave. Once they all hit, they seem to fly off the peg.
Make sure you try out the GitD feature of that figure! I was so-so on it until 316what brought it to my attention - and I think it rocks now.
Nice! I love the King of the Dead figure! He isn't rare around here either, took awhile for me to find him, but now I see him all the time.
