wal-mart has dragons

I had to go to wal-mart today, and figured I'd check out the toy aisle to see what LOTR figures they had. nothing new there, but I did spy a carefully hidden komodo clan dragon in amongst the ninja turtles. It was the only one they had, so I'm guessing they must've sold out pretty damned fast. I went ahead and grabbed that one..paid $7.73 for it.

So now all I need are the sorcerer clan, water clan, and box set dragon, and I'm set. I got the eternal and fire clan dragons from gamestop yesterday for $12.99 each.

Nice snag !! It's been ages since I bought anything from Gamestop. That five dollar difference is huge over an entire series.

I was just in Wal Mart yesterday, and didn't see any Dragons. Just about eight S26 Crouching Spawns.

Luckily, there's a Sam Goody in the same shopping plaza, and that's where I found the Dragons.

I figured I was willing to pay $5 more for my two favorites from the series, and nowhere else that I'd been to had them in yet.

That, and I'm afraid these might be a bit hard to find at the cheaper places..wal-mart was wiped out aside from the lone komodo, suncoast gets picked clean as soon as figures are put out, meijer has been shitty about restocking lately, and my TRU restocks once every other blue moon, and only when a unicorn is present to open the boxes for them. same with KB.

I found dragons at Gamestop on Friday, and Toys R Us yesterday. Unfortunately, our local Walmart only carries sportspicks.

Without taxes, one set of Dragons at:

...ay-yuh, W-M had 'em here, too. Well, they had two left here, too, this morning. One of 'em was the Sorcerer's Dragon, and since that was the only one that mildly appealed to me, and since they are unarticulated and therefore probably would not break under the pressure of...um...looking at them, like every other McF toy I have bought in the last year or so, I figured 'what the hell', and bought him. Her. Uh...it.

So, too bad it doesn't actually fit on its own base. *smirk*

Anyway, the point is, W-M is carrying the series. Also, they are finally getting ML6. After...uh...months. I got a Deadpool.

yeah it's weird, I guess everyone really likes the Komodo Clan Dragon (I know I do!) there was only one on the pegs at the comic shop
