Mot-a to the Tribe for Lawton, the one "small" hitch is we have to take Green.
Lawton is owed 10 million, Green is owed 20 million. The Dodgers pick up 6-7 million of Green's contract. (the net effect is the dodgers vastly improve their offense by taking Green out and putting Lawton in). Lawton and Bradley get along, Lawton could tutor Bradley on how to be a cool hot dog rather than just a weiner, AND the Dodgers cut payroll by 3-4 million.
The Indians could release Green for all I care, the bottom line is we pick up a set-up man who can actually set up for 3-4 million dollars. Then we can Bring up Grady Sizemore.
I LOVE Lawton's role on this team, but I can't stand watching us lose so many leads late in the game.
