I always loved Josefina and Kit's characters and stories. So I bought Josefina first and Kit second. But I discovered I like Nellie more than Samantha so I'm collecting for Nellie as the main character with Samantha taking second place, as if Samantha is Nellie's friend. The same is happening with Elizabeth. I relate more to Elizabeth and love her character. I'm completely enamored with Elizabeth's collection too. So now I'm thinking that after I get Elizabeth's collection, I'll get Elizabeth's friend Felicity. Has anyone else felt like that with one of the historical dolls and their friends?
Also with the AGT dolls, I just had to have AGT 11, Violette and some day I'll get her friend Julie Amelie, AGT 25. Have any of you felt one doll was the main character and another doll was her friend?

I'm in the same boat as you - I have Nellie and no Sam and I'm collecting Sam's collection for Nellie. I am also planning on getting Elizabeth before Felicity and doing the same for her. On the other hand, Samantha was never my favorite doll but having Nellie has made me want her friend, Samantha!

Julia, we're right there with ya. I bought Nellie first, and the only reason I even have Sam is that I found her on eBay for about the price of her outfit alone. I bought Elizabeth because I thought she was beautiful, then bought Felicity because I thought Elizabeth needed a friend.
