I do not to start any fights, but just want to know an opinion on which one is better?
I am asking this question because of falconGSR, he was asking if you can start over, what setup would you run.
I am still firm on my decision....TURBO.

I think that depends on what one considers "better". If you want stump pulling, neck snapping torque available instantly in response to the throttle, an Eaton or Autorotor (if it were available) supercharger fill that prescription. If you want more power potential and the ability to adjust boost easily, a turbo makes more sense. Sure there are a miriad of problems and solutions, advantages and disadvantages of each approach and you're probably going to hear about them from the folks on this board who aren't tired of the old "debate".
Just don't let it get ugly folks!

When you did those runs, how many Lbs of boost were u running? and were u on slicks ?

MDA,
I was running on 13x8x22 M&H on 13x8 Lensos.
Also I was running 9psi.
I think it was the fuel setup I have that I ran safely at that boost level.
Thanks for showing me that running big injectors (450cc) were fine with a fuel controller (V or S AFC).

I suppose this is my chance to throw in my two cents http://www.hostboard.com/ubb/smile.gif
Turbo... period!
Ok, now that I've gotten that out of the way. Turbo for LS, Super for GSR. I really don't think there is any better rule of thumb. Turbo on a GSR is all fine and dandy if you lower the compression, but if you don't, I'm sorry, you're not thinking too much. If I could reply the image of the DRAG GSR blowing up at NOPI I would.

I dunno 'bout that rule of thumb, really. It seems to me that you would have to ask yourself what you wanted from the car. If you just want simple bolt on power then it's a draw, IMHO with both routes having their advantages and dis-advantages.
If your goal is to build a drag racer then I would say turbo all the way. If you are into autocrossing, then you'd probably want the SC.
It's all in what application you have in mind for the power that you're putting to the ground.
