I haven't seen it in about a decade, until last night. [img]tongue.gif[/img] Sure, I had it in my movie-collection all that time, but the quality was very poor, just collecting dust.
Had totally forgotten Kevin McCarthy had a role in it, although admittedly it was barely more than a cameo at the beginning & end.
And one of the best Werewolf movies ever made...in my opinion. [img]wink.gif[/img]
It had a really good setup. But I had problems with the execution at times. Eddie Quist spends so much time metamorphosizing into a wolf, it FIRST gives the anchorwoman time to find acid to splash into his face, and SECOND he gives the gun back to the guy with silver bullets for a 'free shot'. And then at the end, when we see the werewolves full-scale, they're stop-motion buffoons! [img]tongue.gif[/img]
Agreed, it is one of the BETTER werewolf movies out there, but it's quite dated by 'current Hollywood' standards today.
