Like Carl said....I used www.photobucket.com.
It's easy cuz it gives you all the tags to use.

Well wait there Mr. Avatar Junkie! Is the question regarding Avatars, or is it a picture inside your text reply??? If it is in the reply, you need to have the picture on a hosting site, and then copy and paste the location into the "image" box that pops up when you click the image button.
If it is an avatar that is being questioned, then follow the Kattz words.
