A weekend without ANY hurricanes looming off the coast or barreling down on us. No Bonnie, Charley, Frances, Ivan (x2) or Jeanne. Just a nice hot and sunny weekend with the possibility of an afternoon thunderstorm. Back to normal. They aren't so much a problem as the spring breakers are in March-April. Getting to the beach in March or April on the weekends is a real bitch. I would like to strangle the bastard who decided to promote this area as a spring break destination.
