Opinions on these cds?

So I'm new to this board and obviously don't have the CD library that most folks on this board have. That's where I need some help! I'm thinking about buying some cd's and was just wondering what some members thought about the following cds. Because the thing that pisses me off the most is wasting money on a disc and have it not be what I thought it was. I love stuff that's melodic, catchy, ala Poison, PBF, Ratt, Bon Jovi, Big Bang Babies, etc.

What are your thoughts on Tuff's "Regurgitation," "Decade of Disrespect," and "The History of Tuff." Let me start off by saying that I love "What Come's Around Goes Around" but absolutely hated "Religous Fix." "Religous Fix" was just too heavy and not melodic/catchy enough like the first one. All that being said, would I be disappointed with any of the three cd's above? Which is best.

What about Blackboard Jungle's "I Like It Alot Demos and B-sides" cd they have for sale on their website. I don't have "I Like It Alot" and it doesn't appear they offer it for sale on their website in CD format, just the "demos and b-sides." So I'm not familiar with this band much at all, but they seemed to have made a name for themselves back in the day.

Lastly, for now, how are the Shameless cd's? The musicians on those look like a who's who in glam, but often those 'All Star" projects always seem to leave me disappointed.

And yes I have checked out the Heavy Harmonies site, just thought I would get more reliable opinions here.

<font size="4" face="Arial">As per the Tuff cds, I prefer Religious Fix, personally. Never did care for the debut. Found it a bit generic. Never really got into anything else that they did.

For Blackboard Jungle, it's laid back, melodic, moody music. A little more mature. I think it borders on boring at times. For the prices that their stuff pulls on ebay, definitely make sure to give it a listen before you buy. They have some sound samples up on allmusic.com.

Shameless, imo, sounds a lot like PBF. Better songwriting most of the time, however. I like Splashed best, followed by Queen 4 a Day, and Backstreet Anthems. Once again, check allmusic.com OR the band website for sound samples.

Re: Tuff..don't bother with Regurgitation unless you want a load of demos that are pretty poor sound quality. Out of the three, The History... is the best, imo.

Re: Shameless..as Lycan said, Splashed is the best, but all three are worth having. They all have versions of PBF and Tuff tracks on (She's Not Comin' Home, Shock The World, A Place Where Love Can't Go, etc..) and in my opinion the Shameless versions are better than stuff like PBF's The Vault. Sound quality on all three is as it should be.
