It's funny, but there's a grouping of musical acts out there that, for whatever reason, peeps just seem to think are alright. They aren't necessarily anybody's fave band, but then they're not hated by anybody either. Here's my list...
The Cars
The Police
Steve Miller Band
Can you come up with any more?
you can go ahead and cross the steve miller band off of that list thanks to me, if you know what i mean. and if i remember correctly there is someone on here who hates the cars.
how about Kiss, i think everyone loves Kiss, right Marc?
how about U2? I don't think i have ever heard anybody say they hate them. I'm sure there are people out there that do but they don't seem to instill the same sense of hate that say Kiss or Poison do.
There's a shitload of bands that no one seems to hate, but often it's because they're just sort of indifferent to those bands. I do like Cars and Police, though.
I don't recall meeting anyone who outright *hates* The Cure or Pink Floyd. But I bet someone will prove me wrong.

<font size="4" face="Arial">i remember a post a while ago about "bands people would be surprised you like" or something along those lines and i listed the cars and someone said they hated them. (or maybe they just like to disagree for arguments sake, who knows) - for some reason i just don't like the SMB. i don't know if the 'sound' of that type of music just reminds me of bad times in the past or maybe the combination of a 'classic rock' radio station here over playing them and the fact that every bar within 20 miles of scranton (and that's ALOT of bars) has SMB's greatest hits on the jukebox and it's a safe bet that you will here a selection off of it once and hour.Quote:

i wouldn't say i am a big fan of pink floyd, but i wouldn't say that i hate them. i like a few select songs from them, that's about it though. and before anyone lists them, i hate the beatles and the who as well.

those 3 are ..ok .... Sting solo is God Aweful ...
But U2 is the worst band i have ever heard ,, my friend played the joshua tree 10,000,000 times ... knew the story bout the boy on the war cover ... knew everything bout that band ... and all the rest were like dressed up going to the Skid Row concert and he'd dress up like he was the Edge .
