Anyone know what the heck happened to this guy ? I know his CD tanked and his MTV career ended, but is he still out there preaching the glam word ?

He's in the subways of New York eating with the rats and cockroaches...hehe!!!...

Every so often you will hear people mention that they saw him at the (fill in the blank) concert, but you never hear more than that. He is kind of like The Loch Ness Monster, people claim to have seen him, but there is no definitive proof. Part of the thing is there were always the claims that he was all an act. So if he was faking it, when he got done, remove all the flashy crap, drop the idiot voice and everything, and you would probably never know it if you were standing next to him.

For the record, I loved the CD and find it one of the greatest Glam albums ever recorded, but to no credit to him at all. He did nothing, and I drop all of the credit to that amazing line-up of people that wrote it and played on it. Shame of it all is though, it is EXACTLY what we all slam stuff like Britney, Jessica, and all fo those to being. It was a studio creation, and an album written for somebody. The people that even played on it never even did a show with the guy. So whereas I love the CD, it shames me and pains me to say that. [img]redface.gif[/img]

i saw him once back in his heyday at a Godhead show in NYC. he was a pretty cool then, not an MTV idiot like Matt Pinhead was. Now, you wouldn't even know him anymore if you've seen him. well you might, it would be one of those 'you look familiar but i don't know where from' kinda things. the hair is gone, the flash is gone, but he is still a pretty decent guy though not the sharpest crayon in the box. He hangs out at a used record store around here every now and then. I guess he is friends with the owner.


right after his cd tanked my friend told me he saw him twice, once in a grocery store on 8th street (how ironic) and my friend said he though he was a homeless man. no shoes, dressed really dirty, smelled, the whole 9 yards. it was bad enough that my friend, who is/was a big fan of his, was afraid/almost embarrassed to go over and say hi. the other time was at a show in orlando. he was standing outside the backstage band door begging people to let him in. things like "don't you remember me", "don't you know who i am" and stuff like that.


and i do know that bubble (dogs d'amour) wrote and performed one or two songs on his cd. sam yaffa was also in his live band for a time but to be honest, i don't remember them ever really doing a show. i think the only ones that were lined up with sammi in the band were cancelled and then it just fell apart.

I think the only reason Bubble got involved was because producer Ric Browde (Faster Pussycat, Poison, WASP, Dogs Damour) got paid a ton of money and he was also producing Bubble at the same time. I think he also helped to write a few of the songs of the Jesse cd.
