Neck Stamps (warning, lots of pics)

I noticed that, atleast on my 12 dolls, NO two neck markings are the same [img]confused.gif[/img]

I'd love to know just how many variations there actually are!

Wow , thank you Sara, I am happy you did this its very interesting and Im glad to see all the differences.. Thank you again for the time you took to take these pics

I had no idea they were so varied! I wonder why...did different people stamping get a different stamp or something? (I also got really really freaked out looking at the 2006 stamps, for no good reason that I can think of.)

I was just thinking that maybe the neck stamps are different for each different doll (ie-Sam's neck stamps were ALWAYS different than Kirsten's or Molly's, but every Sam doll from that year or period of years had the same stamp). If that's true, then that sure seems like a waste of time and money to create all these different stamp variations!! My Lissie's stamp looks exactly like the 1992 Felicity's stamp, however. I wonder if that stamp was used on her for a couple years, or only 1 year. I would love to compare stamps from really early dolls to mid-90's ones that are the same type of doll.

<font size="2" face="Verdana, Helvetica, sans-serif">I had gotten a 2004 Felicity, but I no longer have her. Her neck stamp was identical in every way to 2005 Kirsten. So I suspect all dolls with the same facemold have the same stamp for a certain amount of time.
