Just as a guess I would venture two possibilities:
1. You still have a short somewhere, or a ground line is not connected
2. You fried your ECU.

Ok here's the deal:
I shorted out the oxgyen sensor awhile back. scince then this has been happening. I get a code64 ( scondary o2sensor) I replace it and the problem continues. I get a code20 (ELD) no idea.
This is how the car has handled it. When i start the car the speedo doesn't work, it doesn't work for about 20 min after the car warms up then fine. It starts bouncing all over the place till it decides to play nice.
Now, the car dies all the time No juice so, I replace the alternator (that was a bitch). but the problem is still there. I start the car and it runs fine but if i hit the gas to give it a little goose, it goes nuts. all the lights start blinking on and off. the car revs from 1000 rpm to 1500 rpm up and down, up and down. The batt has a good charge but the car wont start again. Jump it it starts fine. sometimes it runs fine then bamb!!! up and down, of and on again.
I can't figure this one out do you guys have any idea? Please help
