What exactly was the point of this thread, Martin?

Well, if you remember, the mall began with a simple post, and people just made stuff up. Of course, 'the mall' was a setting we could all relate to, whereas "Welcome" doesn't help at all. Of course, I've started some pointless threads before, so maybe I'm just defending myself.

Gerald stopped mid-stride on entering Lionheard, realising that this in-character in pseudo-OOC thread posting style was somehow almost cliche on this board.

But then... Gerald had heard that these discussions of memes native to places like this was itself becoming a cliche, and the list of cliches likely to pop up ("Just to get them all out of the road", as they say on Slashdot") was becoming, somewhat paradoxically, a proper subset of itself.
