Are they supposed to be Plague, Famine, War and Pestilence?

I checked out the link and then hit up youtube for some of their live stuff. Not bad although a little bit cliche. Put KISS, GWAR and Def Leppard into a blender.

Their guitarist looks like Gravedigger. I don't know how they can do a whole concert with all that head gear on. Especially the drummer and the bass player.

Drau - they have gone through a line up change for the latest album, only Lordi the lead singer and Amen, the lead Guitarist are constant through all the discography.

I don't think they are trying to really portray any aspect of mythos, biblical or otehrwise. Lordi (the lead singer's stage name as well as the band name) was into 80s "heavy metal" as it was called at that time and Horror movies; combining them into something he has been doing for some years.

Andy - With the interviews I have been able to find and the info, they are really just out there having fun with it all and treat it as a job. They are known for only being interviewed and photographed with their stage outfits and refuse to do any work out of makeup.

I like their videos as they tend to be really of the style of a 3 1/2 minute horror movie, just a fun time.

I saw the "Hard Rock Halejuah" on the website and I liked it. It is a throw back to the 80s style of video. They're pretty solid live.

I assumed they were a bit cheeky about their gig not unlike the band Darkness. They make rock fun again which is all cool.

LOL! I just watched the Eurovision Song Contest clip, and it was quite funny to see those guys on a very American Idol looking stage setup

I was waiting for Dunkelman to come out afterwards and give out the phone number to call!
