Just some background info on me...
I'm 14, been playin around 5 or 6 years, and here i'm playing on my Roland TD-6KV kit. A little messy i know. I'm a lot better on acoustics. I'm trying to experiment with the nine stuff Steve posted. Not really working, hehe.

Holy crap... this is amazing for 14 and the amount of years you have been at it. Well done. I am 10 years older than you and by the sounds of it, you'd be able to keep up with me... you don't *sound* 14 - you sound 20-something. I can only imagine how you will sound 10 years later!
You playing double kick or single? A lot of these licks are very Portnoy/Carrey.

I try not to sound portnoy-ish, he's not really my favourite player, but he does play some interesting stuff.
I play very differently on my electric kit than i do on acoustics. I play a lot more free on acoustics and (i reckon) sound more Weckl-ish (or even Buddy Rich-ish) than Portnoy-ish.
I've just recorded a track with me playing agaisnt a backing track. http://s26.yousendit.com/d.aspx?id=3...9160XSR7UOW3NG It's called Rhythm Dance and from the In Session with the Dave Weckl band package thing. Quite a nice track.
Unfortunately, i'm not part of a good band (how many funky fourteen-year-olds do you know?), but i hope to set one up in the future with some others (ie not from school). We are hoping to convert the garage into a home recording-studio for me, sound proofed and the lot, and i hope to buy some *decent* equipment. My TD-6 is good, but not really professional. I'm hoping to get a Gretsch renown, and then i'll be able to really start getting stuck into it. Hopefully should sound fat.

Lawrence, very impressive being able to play to a Weckl tune at 14... I assume that was all one take too huh? Excellent hi-hat work and timing (one and off the beat + phrasing/accents).
Who is your teacher?
It seems as though very few drummer on HOD have the balls to post playing clips of themselves and/or videos, which is really a shame since I would like to hear EVERYBODY regardless.

I personally hate the sound of electronic drums, but it sounds like you have some good control and skill. I don't want to be negative in any way, as you're quite young and obviously talented. - but I wouldn't call this a 'solo'. It's more of a snippet that you might play as a warm up or for a sound check, or while you're judging your pedal's spring, or the tension on your drum heads. It's not really a 'musical' statement to me.
Personally, I myself am a horrible soloist. I much prefer to improvise over some sort of repeating melody or rhythymic vamp/ostinato. I don't think there are many drummers that can keep me interested just with drums alone.
Live, it's a different story. I think that the visual aspect of someone playing the drums adds another dimension that allows for more freedom of expression; But just listening to a drummer riff out doesn't do it for me.
Keep it up though, and try to post something on acoustic drums. I'll look for something myself so that you can tell me how 'lame' I am....
