Those hats appear to be 14" Zildjian Z Dyno Beats. Although they may be K/Z hats upside down.

The pic in the link shows the newer generation cymbals. Brain has the older ones. Different logo design, and I don't see the little polygon pattern either. Same basic thing. Try ebay perhaps. Hope this helps. Later!

<font size="2" face="Verdana, Helvetica, sans-serif">Ah, that clears things up. I was first interested in the hats because of their cool profile. Not to mention that they sound awesome on the clip. Lets hope the new generation is similar in sound - if not better!

I have a pair. The Top is polygon and the bottom is stars I think. They sound pretty good but can be really high pitched for some music. I'm using a Z dyno top and K custom dark on the bottom now.

Great vid of Erskoman with Palle Danielson and John Taylor and nice o finally see Buddy with Animal too. The way Animal gives up and stares at Buddy open-mouthed is wicked!

That Chad Smith is killing. I always knew his feel is ridiculous, but I never knew he that sort of technique and great concept of groove and displacing the beat!

I am glad you enjoyed it Dazzler. Keep in mind that the Chad Smith vid is ancient and his performance at the MD Festival of 2005 will probably be amazing. Wish I could be there to see it. This guy meant so much to me when I first started playing [img]smile.gif[/img]

Hi Guys,

Well, for me Chad Smith is the less worse drummers in these video clip, surely because he has a bass player with him.
But still, I'm really not fan...

I know some great track where Kenny is amazing, but he should not playing this kind of drum solo, he does everything that I "hate" in term of dumming...

I don't know who is this Brain, but maybe that he doesn't know all the great tracks where Dennis Chambers play this kind of "Blue Matter" funk/half time shuffle...
That's why I find him pretty "light" so for demonstrating this groove.

It's just my opinion, but thanks for posting these clip anyway.

Who's Brain? He used to play for Primus and most recently with Guns 'n' Roses. I wish you could check out Brain's Lessons. He's everything but "light" on some other clips.
