VTOD 60's - I am the walrus...

Uh, no. But monsters were all the rage when I was a kid, especially the Universal stuff. Here's another item I picked up a few years ago at a PTO Thrift store for a couple bucks that I've found out zippo about. It's from another big company, at least for the 60's, Cardinal. It's a set of 'monster' checkers, which is actually a variety of red and black plastic monsters - Dracula, Wolfman, Mummy, witch, etc - and a pressed paper board. There's also a set of regular checkers in the bottom to go along with it.

so those monsters look just like MPC's "Pop-Top Horrors" from 1964 (that I loved the mostest~) which were about 5" tall-

Yep, somebody must have been using sombody's mold, because those are Pop-Top all the way.

Looking around on DrBred's Playset Page, where he lists past playsets he's reviewed, he has MPC Monsters & Plamer Monsters listed.......

I know of the figures, never heard of any playset-
know anything about these?
