1. Haysi - We're the best till proven otherwise baby.
2. PV- They were good last year. Should be better this year.
3. Gate City- Always fields a good team. Could possibly knock off PV
4. Honaker- Hey...it's honaker
5. Burton- Good team especially for their numbers
6. Clintwood- Could be a real contender again if they could get a decent head coach
7. Rye Cove- They have a dynasty on the CD. Fielded a good team last year.
8. Pound- Despite my teasing i'm looking for them to make a comback in the coming years.
9. Hurley- I'd like to see them come back as a powerhouse even though Hurley fans are about as smart as Council basketball fans.
10. Twin Springs- They seem to compete with Rye Cove every year

1. PV-from what I know returns the most. And only lost 3 starters from the Region D D2 Runnerup team.
2. GC-They're GC.
3. Burton-should still be pretty good.
4. Honaker-usually good year in, year out.
5. Haysi-close with Honaker.
6. Clintwood-have a good beginning season but they go downhill towards the end. If it weren't for that then they'd be in the top 5.
7. Appalachia-lost their coach. May not do so well but should sneak in to the top ten. Maybe in the playoffs.
8. Rye Cove-Nobody's gonna knock them off the CD Championship for awhile.
9. Pound-should be decent.
10. Hurley-will be okay.

Put Twin Valley in there if you want a damn joke!! Hey and i am from there, really would like to see the Justus kid on a good team kid is a haus,I know some guys here seem to say the kid is overrated but heck he ran for what 1300 yards behind a no so good line to put it mildly and every team knew TV was going to run the crap out of him. So i dont think you can say that he is overratted because you saw him do nothing aganist Haysi or Honaker or some other really good team. But yeah if you want to really make this list lose credit then stick TV in there and we will talk but having Hurley and TS on there shows how weak it has become really.

Gotta agree with O-line on that one...there are just not enough teams in the region to even justify a top 10. A top 10 for SWVA is ok but if you are only talking region D a top 5 would do just fine. If Appalachia can't make your top 10 then no way Hurley or Twin Springs should. Just ridiculous. Heck Appy beat Hurley by like 40 in the playoffs last year...not to mention they beat Rye Cove by 4 tds, Clintwood by a td and Pound by 2 tds. All teams that you have in your top 10...don't really know what you are thinkin.
