We have a friend who wants to jump out of a perfectely good (or held together by duct tape) airplane.

Jumper wants us to be impressed with the fact that he has jumped out of planes.

Big deal HE USED A PARACHUTE.

So typical of a Ranger.

Now, in the Jag Corps, they jump out of planes WITHOUT CHUTES.

See the difference?

The plane actually has to be IN THE AIR for it to be considered a jump!!

We have a friend who wants to jump out of a perfectly good airplane. It looks like Trav is going to live up to his screen name and spend the next 6 to 8 weeks elsewhere, so will you send me a PM with your email address? Then you can give Jon the particulars.

Warezee going now? My last 2 biz trips were to Peoria IL and Indianapolis IN so ya know his trips seem kinda exotic.

Nothing exotic, Lan. The upside is that he's taking the bike, it's spring and the riding should be good.

The facility sits right on the river. I can bass fish during lunches.

Um.....well.....yeah, I thought you meant while the plane was still on the ground....

Having traveled in that general direction (and coming back by another route) within the last week, I have a suggestion.

It would be WAY more scenic, the road is in better shape, and there is less traffice on I-68 instead of I-70. Oh, and there is no toll and the speed limit is higher. And the rest stops are So! Much! Nicer!


I-70 Pennsylvania Turnpike avoidance maneuver:
From I-70 East, at Washington, PA, take I-79 south to Morgantown, WV. Then go on I-68 east until you pick up I-70 again in Maryland. Just a few more miles and you are headed south on I-81.

I learned about I-68 on this trip and will NEVER use the Pennsylvania Turnpike again unless a more northerly destination forces it.

You probably already knew about this, but I didn't and wish someone had told me before I left.
