A lot of bikers are really smart people. I've met quite a few that are smarter than you think. Many look at bikers as grungy thug types, but that isnt fair. Just because they have a beard and long hair, or wear a leather jacket and ride a Hog doesnt mean that they aren't intelligent people.
Interesting contest.
As Trav has <s>pointed out</s> rubbed in previously, with the price of gas the way it is, those who ride motorcyles really are the smart ones.
Down to (I cant beleive I said down to about a price that is still over $2.00 per gallon) $2.09 at a couple places by me.

We rode to Minneapolis last summer and met business owners, lawyers, doctors.
Not a societal scumbag among them.
But it wasn't a Harley party.
Bikes are nice and I certainly am not averse to riding (or even someday owning one). But with that having been said, I don't think there's anything "smart" about riding on a vehicle that offers no protection against a several ton car or truck if you get into an accident. Whatever you save in gas can be given to your survivors I guess if you are in a serious accident. I would not want to ride on one in rush hour traffic anywhere around here that's for sure.
I do frequently see Hulk Hogan on one of his Harleys on Gulf Boulevard going the opposite direction when I go to the beach on Sunday mornings. He always nods or waves and has even given me a thumbs up on my convertible. Which is nice. [img]cool.gif[/img]

I know to get his autograph addressed to her if I do! one of my neighbors is a fishing buddy of his and I have already asked him to get his autograph the next time they get together...
