Andyman's World

Last weekend I moved my folks down to a retirement area in Andyman's neighborhood. Since I got there early, I thought I'd read the paper while waiting...

So the Flint Journal has a whopping FOUR page "international" section... two of which are ads... okay, I can understand that. But fully 1/6 of the FRONT page of the international section was devoted to a picture of a six-week old daschund staring up at a three-foot tall fire hydrant. It had the caption "Think Big". And this was international since the dog was photographed in Canada.

And don't get me started on how wide my sister's taste in music is. She not only had country music programmed on her radio buttons, but she also had a CLASSIC country station.

Damn boondocks! Now I know why I'm moving to Colorado.

That's why I read the Detroit Free Press. My wifey buys the Sunday Flint Journal for the ads and coupons. It is a serious waste of paper.

So why are you moving to 'rado? Other than the aforementioned reasons?

BTW-It's "up" to my area not down. I'm not "down" north from you (unless your parents are north of me).

BTW II-we have 3 fuggin' "classic rock" stations...all the Foreigner and Styx you can eat for one low price! [img]wink.gif[/img]

Now if only they could actually get some OXYGEN in that state... elevation 8,800 feet is not a place for humans to live!

I have some friends in CO, and they love it. I hate to say I have never been there.
