I remember gutting myself laughing when I first saw this....Karma anyone? And look just behind Roxx Gang and ahead of UDO...LOL

By the way,
I remember that band Dirty Blonde on the Import list.
I still have their cassette...and I'll admit....that band wasn't that good at all...haha. The music was weak and the vocalist could barely keep in tune. [img]wink.gif[/img]
Their cover song for Jim Croce's BAD BAD LEROY BROWN(think that's the title of the song) was gawd-awful.

No No Ian...look at the Pretty Boy Floyd pic again....they have Sandy's PBF band from Canada as the photo, yet it was too be a photo of L.A. Pretty Boy Floyd.
My opinion is the person who worked for the mag and made the mistake, was just that...working there...not knowing what band was what. But I don't blame him...all bands looked the same back then....haha.

We had already had a KKKK full page review of our EP on the pages of Kerrang a few months prior. We were also on the import charts top 20 for over a month. They had no clue their was another PBF. How could they? as they'd only being playing clubs for 8 months in LA and we'd sold over a thousand copies of our EP through Shades in London.Quote:

Before PBF LA was even signed, we had already been featured in Kerrang, Metal Hammer, Metal Edge, Hit Pararder and RIP to name a few big ones. They rode and benefitted on a buzz we'd already created. Even their A&R man admitted so to our manager at the time.
That's all old news, but a lot of people don't know the facts.
