I couldn't agree with you more. Personally I find myself spending a lot more time back on the old board or on 1/6 boards these days. At least on those when you post something, people actually answer. I have no clue why the members here really aren't into having a dialog about the hobby. You'd think with the dedication to collecting that people here share that pics of a new line would bring out tons of posts, but nope.
There's no debate, no give and take, no argument. It's almost like people are afraid of offending anyone elses sensibilities. The most important part of a discussion board is the word discuss. In my humble opinion what we've become is stale and boring. If that offends anyone, sorry. No, actually I'm not sorry. It's pathetic that when pics of a new line finally get shown the most replies to a post about it are twenty four. Damn sad.

it's like someone doesn't want to say thing out of turn or disagree with something..
there is no spice to this board...no fights or arguments...
that also goes with the same thing, i wish they would remove the being invisble function on this board too...i don't see any reason for it at all...
one time i was on the board and the only name that showed up was mine and 17 Guests....
and that lasted for a good 20 minutes and no posting

another perfect example... there's a 10 page Batman Begins sticky on PW right now... i started a thread here and it got to two pages, half of which seemed to be "bale sucks"

it's unfortunate as there are a lot of really great people over here i enjoy talking to. the problem is that nobody talks. it's because of this that i rarely stop over here anymore...

This time of year I'm usually too spent, or too cocked to post much.
It's also, imo, a very lame-o year for toys & the first year since Spawn S-1 that 99% of McF's offerings don't interest me at all.
& (a tad emotional perhaps) but I'll cop to being a little resentful (?) bummed out, for sure, by that.
I don't want to stop collecting, but I'm looking for (maybe) a new area........
Vintage is always cool, but expensive-

I have to agree with SW.
It's summer right now and alot of us are getting out from behind the pc and enjoying life.
Once winter kicks back in we'll all be right back here posting.

It happened last year about this time. It got slow. And besides Sculpey - I always thought you're motto was "Quality not Quantity" [img]wink.gif[/img]
I've been caught up in a lot of projects that have kept me away from here, mainly due to the sheer volume of work that has been required for them to be compelted. Plus it is the downtime right before SDCC where there should be some new things to talk about.
There was a major leaving back around the election when there were opinions thrown and fought over, but in my opinion I think it is time for those to be gotten over and anyone that wants to come back, to come back and give it another shot. It isn't worth holding any grudge for this long. IMO
