Got A Question For Everyone

O.K. I would like some input/opinions on something.Some time back (as in over a year ago)I did a trade with a well known member of this board.He is also a member of several other boards I am a member of.I also purchased a couple of items from him.He received everything we had agreed I would send to him in exchange for items he had that I wanted.As well as the money for the items I purchased from him.I received most but not all of the items we had agreed he would send me.2 or 3 packages.My problem is this he told me when I could get a response from him that he sent the items out yet they never arrived.He had also said he sent stuff out earlier than he actually did the postage dates didn't match up to when he said he sent the stuff.The items I purchased were supposed to be complete and in good condition yet had a couple of broken parts that I never bitched about because I was happy to get them.I have not heard from this person in some time and he is now active again on the 1/6th scale boards.My question is this do I post his name and what happened and ruin his rep for not completing a trade or should I just let it go?If someone is willing to do this once to a person who knows when they will do it again to someone else?The person in question has a good trading rep right now and I would hate to ruin it since he did send most of the stuff we agreed upon all I want is what he owes me,and I'd call it even no hard feelings.What do you all think I should do?

nah, i'd send him a PM sayin yo, look, i don't want any bs or drama, just send mystuff out by the end of te week and email me tracking #....and if the guy is still being an ass, i'd rat him out and use his home address to send him some unpleasant items [img]wink.gif[/img] but then again i'm a spitful jerk......but a deal is a deal, either you come through, or you make new compromises so everyones happy.....like give some of your $ or stuff back if he can't complete the deal, or you have every right to drag him through the mud (unless this entire message was about me [img]wink.gif[/img] )

PM the person and give them a chance to clear it up. If that doesn't work I see nothing wrong with exposing the situation to the board. Peer pressure sometimes does wonders.

However, keep in mind that exposing this case to the board puts you both on trial.

I have excellent trade references on a couple of boards no negatives so I have no worries about exposing this.I am a member of GL's Hall Of Honor on the Unofficial Ultimate Soldier Fan Page.I also have good references on OSW and a some on MWD.TCM can also vouch for me.Almost forgot to add if anyone wants to check my references I go by StarrDogg on the other boards I'm a member of.Thanks for your input guys.

like two people have already said. keep it private, PM the guy... give it a week or so, if nothing good happens, and no progress is made, expose the person.

I've had an un-concluded deal with someone for well over a year now. I sent my portion of the trade and it was received. I haven't received my end yet. I was told it was mailed, apparently lost and something else mailed in its place, but to this date have never received anything for the figures I mailed.

I brought this up once and have since just let it die. Not really worth the hassle for the $7 figure I sent.
