At the president flying over to gawk at the most horrific tragedy in my history..Im angry that he was on vacation and sat on his ranch eating chilled asparagus soup while "his" people were suffering..Im angry it took him 2 days to decide to cut his vacation short and do something..Im angry that they can spend billions in Iraq and cant get any money or supplies to these people immediatley..Im angry that with all the technology we have today they cant drop food and water into these people or get them out of the place! There is no excuse..as Mayor Nagin so aptly said..*get off your asses and do something there are people dying down here* That man is a hero..a true modern day hero..He is living down there with the people and he is doing all he can and getting nothing. I do not understand how they cannot get these people out??? The president ought to have done better..ought to have done more..his words today about the relief effort being unacceptable..HELL YES its not acceptable..any monkey can see that!!! Now he is going to fly over there again and have another look..gimme a break..they dont need to see that man..they need results! They need food, water and help..if he aint carrying water on his plane to drop as he flys over..WHY BOTHER!
I just dont understand it...my heart is breaking everytime i read the news..I know these people should have listened and gotten out..yeah but know what..WHO cares at this point..some made a mistake and they have more than paid for it! Its not about choice or decisions anymore..its about saving lives. Children didnt have choice's or decisions..they had mommies and daddies to do it for them..some didnt make the right choice or decision..how can we sit in judgement of that? WE cant..I dont want to hear anymore pointing fingers at anyone..no more they should have listened and got out..The time for that is past..now its time to save lives...

Criminal is probably the right word Dave. It's
a damn sin if you ask me. I can't believe that
there isn't any clean water, food, and items for
babies down there yet. How in the hell can you
watch YOUR OWN people suffer like that and not do
a damn thing but keep flying by in your fucking
Jet that's probably paid for by these poor hard
working souls.....

id send a letter to the White House personally if i didnt think id end up with a mysterious tax audit next year or being investigated for possibly being a terrorist...gawd forbid i end up labeled anti american or anti christian cuz i dont agree with the head jackass runnin the country..(perhaps i should say ruining not running)the man has good friends involved in defense and military contracts and family in the gas and oil business...even a blind man can see whats going on here...

it is my understanding as of 11:30pm Friday- via CNBC and ABC the gov. of LA. was offered disaster relief status 2 days b4 the storm hit New Orleans and refused it saying she had all possibilities covered...
inside the Civic Center in N.O. babies are dead and more dieing from heat and dehydration...30,000 people there asking where their government is...
no buses at all as of 11 p.m....none to get the people out to food, water and shelter.
i, sometimes, get angry at my dear partner when she puts the United States down...but now...what is there to say but what a sorry bunch of bureaucratic assholes-from the governor right on up to GWB we have in this country.
thank you to those countries offering help- won't surprise me if Bush says NO Thanks...as he almost did when he said we are "fine." (the man is drinking again!)
betcha if it were Dallas-Houston- or Bumfark Texas the troops-water-food and shelter would be there.
can u tell i am about as pissed off as i can be?
and, yes, i am guilty of the "don't say bad things about the USA without expecting a discussion-it's MY country"- and i always will...won't apologize for that. even now.

he will prolly be taking a dump in his plush bathroom on air farce one while passing over- might as well, hell the dipstick has been shitting on america since day one.
don't ferget Sept 11th- he just sat there in that class when told...and sat...and sat...
FEMA is not responding well just like they didn't when we got hit...it goes beyond sad - i believe it's damn near criminal.

If you take food and drop it into a pack of ravenous dogs what will the outcome most likely be? The food will be eaten, but many of the dogs will be dead in a furious scramble to try and get to the food first. If you take frightened, paniced, starving, stressed, dehydrated people and drop anything that could help them what will the outcome most likely be? The item will be taken, but many will be dead in a furious scramble to try and get to the item first. Everyone believes they need this or that more than someone else. And it didn't start days after, it started the moment they looked around after the storm and saw that their lives had become a disaster area. Even if you had dropped something in twenty three minutes and fifteen seconds after it happened, they'd still revert to instinct and try to get it all. And they wouldn't let anyone stand in their way. In times like these, helping could hurt more than you know.
